Welcome

Welcome to the Liverpool School Business Manager Association Website.

The Association was established over 20 years ago, originally as the Primary Admin Officers Group (PAOG), to offer support and networking opportunities for Primary Admin officers and Office personnel within the Liverpool Area.

The name has changed over the years to reflect national trends and the evolving and widespread roles undertaken by the ever growing membership. Today, LSBMA has around 150 members from across all school phases, made up of Bursars, Business Managers, Finance Officers and Senior Support Staff employed in business management roles.

The group has close links with the Local Authority and other educational groups and bodies. New members will be welcomed by the committee and supported by fellow members.

Membership

Membership of LSBMA is open to all school business management staff in the Liverpool area. Our aim is to provide a network to support our business management colleagues in all school phases.

Membership benefits include termly conferences and our online community. This gives access to a network of fellow school business management professionals and all the experience, ideas and information they old and are willing to share. The online community provides easy to use communication tools such as discussion forums, document libraries, direct secure messaging and effortless sign up tools for all our events.

Membership including online community access and attendance at LSBMA events is just £150 a year.

LSBMA hold a conference each school term, this provides our members with an opportunity to:

Hear from leading speakers, and representatives from both local and national educational establishments.
Assist their development in line with the "ISBL Professional Standards" framework.
Network with colleagues from other schools
Meet with specialist educational suppliers

Our events put the delegate at the heart in order to ensure maximum value, and comprise a mix of keynote speakers, sponsor presentations, relevant sponsor exhibitions and SBM development and network sessions. Conference planning is guided by membership feedback to ensure events are always excellent.
